Raising gentle Belted Galloways and Miniature Galloways while using regenerative farming practices in the Byron Hinterland

The Galloway herds come from an ancient heritage breed originating in Scotland. They have calm temperaments, are great breeders and live long lives.

Here we cater for those looking for calm companion animals, stud and show cattle, farmers and hobby farmers alike with young family members who want quiet cattle to keep as pets.

The Galloway family consists of:

Belted Galloways (black, red & dun) both standard and miniature sizes

Solid or Block Coloured Galloways (white, black, red & dun) both standards and miniatures

Ours minis are predominantly white with contrasting ‘points’. The points are the ears, the muzzle and the hooves. The points colours can be black or red or dun (grey/brown).

We have mini belties too….

BELTIES

These handsome Belted Galloways “Belties” swagger through the grasses with their striking white band around their bellies. We have standard size belties and now mini belties as well. Nothing is more eye catching in the paddock!

We totally love the “OG” distinctive black with white belly band, oh so good looking, but the striking reds ‘turn heads’ …and those of you loving a neutral palette you may favour the lovely soft dun colour. We love them all equally and there is no better looking lawn mower!
